Subjects include U.S. military personnel, Hawaiian natives, Tinian natives (Chamorros), Ellice Islands natives, Japanese and Koreans, B-29 SuperfortressesP-51 Mustang fighters, Japanese P.O.W.s, flora and fauna, flag-raising on Tinian, disembarkment of wounded from Okinawa.

The versions for sale have been scanned and digitized in high resolution: 35mm color slides at 1200 dpi and 35mm black & white negatives at 2400 dpi. The photo(s) you receive will have a copyright mark in the lower right corner, but the semi-transparent watermark copyrights, covering photos at ihbwink.com, are removed.

Co-historian of the 6th Bomb Group, W. David Wilson put together this slide show, B-29s on Tinian (Irv Winkler). Mark A. Martin, Audio/Video Engineer at the B-29 Museum in Pratt, Kansas, enhanced it with his expertise. Using research, maps, title slides, music and video effects, David and Mark help you and us see our father’s slides in context.
